With USTA leagues starting up across the Northeast in April, here are some important reminders on how to be a good team player!
Be Dependable: show up on time or preferably early
Be Helpful: volunteer to help the captain if he/she cannot be at a match or needs help gathering supplies for a match.
Be Supportive: don’t leave when your match is over, stay and cheer on your team mates
Be Flexible: don’t be demanding — sometimes you need to do what is best for the team
Be Committed: don’t give up — give 100% every single match.
By keeping these simple concepts in mind, you and the rest of your team will have a more enjoyable USTA team experience!
