Novak Djokovic captured his sixth title of the season, ending another stunning year with his second Barclays ATP World Tour Finals trophy (also 2008). Djokovic beat six-time champion Roger Federer 7-6(6), 7-5 in London.
Serena Williams captured her seventh title of the season, ending the year with her third TEB BNP Paribas WTA Championship trophy (also 2001 & 2009). Serena beat Maria Sharapova in the finals 6-4, 6-3.
