Roger Federer won his 7th Wimbledon championship today. After losing his first service game and the first set, he took off and never looked back as he beat the number 4 player in the world, Andy Murray. Roger is now tied with Pete Sampras for the most number of Wimbledon Championships and has retaken the position as the number 1 make tennis player in the world.
Yesterday, Serena Williams won her 5th Wimbledon championship in a three set victory over Agnes Radwanska (the number 3 female player in the world). Serena also won the women’s doubles title with her sister, Venus.
