Nadal, Federer Advance to ATP Year-End Championship Finals

After a year without a Nadal/Federer major final, it’s only fitting that the two champions meet at the ATP Year-end Championships.

Yesterday, in a nail biting 3rdset tie break, Nadal was able to defeat Andy Murray.  The three set match lasted over 3 hours with each player defending off match points until Nadal was able to get the better of his opponent.

Roger Federer glided into the final beating Novac Djokovic in straight sets.

This is the first time Rafa Nadal has been in an ATP Year-End final while Federer has held the tile four times and is eager to win it back.  Don’t miss it – airing at 3 pm Eastern on the Tennis Channel.

Earlier in the day, the Bryan Brothers were ousted by Daniel Nester and Nenad Zimonjic in a contentious match that ended with a 3rdset tie break.  Nester/Zimonjic will meet Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi in the finals today.   The doubles final will air at 10:30 am Eastern on the Tennis Channel.
